The devotees wanted to find out some differences. Therefore, the went to their master for an interactive explanations.
  70. First Devotee: What is the difference between a believer and a knowledgeable persons?
  71. Master: The person who does not know the way, believes whatever he is told. So are the believers, and that is why the teachings of the religions are often different and contradictory. But the person who knows the Truth is able to differentiate what is true from what is false.
  72. Second Devotee: What is the difference between light and darkness?
  73. Master: One major difference is that the darkness hides the facts, but light shows the facts as they are, without adding or subtracting, and without fear or favour. To illustrate this fact, enter a room when there is no light in it. At that time, it is full of darkness, which hides everything. Even, the darkness hides your body from yourself. Next, enter the same room when it is full of light, and every detail is made clear, without fear or favour.
  74. Third Devotee: What is the difference between a novice and an expert?
  75. Master: A novice uses a perfect tool to make so many mistakes amidst trials and errors. He ends up abusing and misusing the tool, and produces a mess of his work. On the other hand, an expert uses even an imperfect tool to produce a masterpiece.
  76. Fourth Devotee: What is the difference between a student and a master?
  77. Master: A student achieves a little by using so much effort, but a master accomplishes much by using a little effort. Another difference is this: a student has read only one or few books, while a master has read so many books. A third difference is that a student lacks experience or is learning to gain it, but a master has his wealth of experience, which he uses to everybody’s advantage.
